Hi all,

sorry for delay, i completely forget to write an update.

it was quite funny and busy weekend. I manage to finish watching videos on CGCOOKIE related to game asset creating. Also finished half of the wall. We also manage to place call to RAIFEISEN bank. The worst bank ever. They unsuccessfully tried to answer our questions. In short they failed to transfer money. They fail to cancel transaction, they simply stole the money for around 48 hours 🙂

Today i tried to order Wacom tablet, but because the Raifeisen bank i s complete shit i was not able to. Simply RF can’t transfer money between accounts on the weekend. I though that such stupid behavior is gone in past century. 🙂 So basically I only lost time and have to wait until Monday and I hope that tablet will not be sold out.

I did continue to watch cgcookie videos, but only for a few minutes. I have to find more time tomorrow.

I also noticed that https is not working correctly, because of mixed content. I fixed that so it is now all secure.

Today I spent like two hours learning new stuff, mainly watching great tutorial about game asset creation on CGCOOKIE. I Currently abandoned the idea of finishing motorcycle model as I think that more important is to understand whole process of importing assets into the game. So in next few days I’ll try to create first base game asset set and import it into the unity. Hopefully in next one or two weeks i’ll have base prototype of the game. Maybe the goal is too difficult to achieve but lets try it 🙂

Today a managed to make a lot of things 🙂

First of all this site now uses https, which increases security. Menus has been filled in and a lot of pages has now content. Nothing is finished yet, but it is on right track. I also managed to finish next learning section on modeling motorcycle in blender. So now i know few more tricks how to work faster. There are another three sections of tutorial which i would like to finish in two days.

After fresh installation I finished hardening the webserver 🙂 So it is not now possible to hack through ssh easily. Firewall is setup. Plugin for stopping spam bots posting anything on wordpress site ia running. Google analytics is reporting. Nice links are working and redirection from http to www is working nicely too 🙂

Some steps have to be taken further, like adding more content to pages. Changing artwork etc. But I’m still waiting for my new Wacom tablet, so I can start working on drawing stuff 🙂

Today I’ve made small step towards our goal: Game. I’ve made new VPS server and setup mariadb, nginx, php-fpm adn wordpress there. It took several hours, but it runs fast and that was the goal. Maybe it is not related directly to game, but without decent site no game would run.

I have lot of ideas what to do, but time is limited. But why I made this “blog”. Sometimes self motivation is not enough. Sometimes you have to do something more to stay focused and motivated. So i decided that I’ll make my progress public. I’ll write message what i have done towards the goal every day, just before I’ll go to bed. 🙂
